Projects

Assist RR has been supporting war affected communities in the northern region of Sri Lanka on an informal basis. Through friends in various countries, we have supported a range of projects, including building community halls, conducting evening classes for children, providing library facilities and distributing reading glasses to resettled people in Vanni.

Since March 2013, Assist RR raised more than £400k (around Rs 80 Million) and implemented many projects in the north and east of Sri Lanka. The link below provides more detailed report of Assist RR’s projects and the organisations which supported some these projects. Please click the below:

Assist RR Projects Since March 2013

We intend carrying out our future phases of projects in resettlement areas through Assist RR (SL). We will also be working in conjunction with our local contacts in the northern part of Sri Lanka to achieve our goals.
