The GA has been trying to get funding through other sources but, as he failed to do so, he approached Assist RR for assistance to build at least one ward. Assist RR agreed and has been raising funds. Although it was estimated that the cost would be around \u00a331k for the 24-bed ground floor ward, we are now confident that it would be completed at a cost of around \u00a326k. Serendip Children\u2019s Home has agreed to donate \u00a312k towards the\u00a0ground floor and Assist RR is funding \u00a316k.
