Fishing Industry and Farming

Interview with a resident from Koappapilavu village in Mullaitivu district Broadcast on Australian local radio.



There are about 170 families who have been resettled recently from various camps including Manic farm, Cheddikulam.



The main source of their income has been from fisheries and agricultural activities. They require equipment like fishing boats, nets and other basic agricultural equipment.

They also urgently need water supply facilities for their daily and agricultural needs.


When you listen to the interview given below, you will find that urgent help is needed to restart their lives.

Rebuilding their lives requires a huge amount of funding. We are very keen to support at least some of the resettled families.
