Puthukudiyiruppu (PTK) Hospital Ward – Appeal for equipment

Assist RR was approached by Mullaithivu GA, Mr Vethanayagan, with a request to construct wards at PTK hospital. Assist RR agreed and is currently constructing the ground floor of a 2-storey ward complex at a cost of around £26k. Assist RR is funding £16k and Serendip Children’s Home has agreed to donate £12k towards the ground floor. The project is progressing well and expected to be completed soon.  However, the ward needs some basic equipment such as beds, bed side lockers, trolleys, and many more items to furnish the ward. In addition, they also require medical equipment to assist effective functioning of the ward. Please consider donating funds to purchase these items, given in the link below.
